VCE Excel Education – 2023 Record-Breaking Results

Congratulations to the two students who have been awarded the 2023 VCE English Language Premier’s Award!

The Victorian Premier’s VCE Award is the highest honour that VCE students in Victoria can achieve. The Premier’s Award is divided into three main categories: All-round Awards, individual Subject Awards, and International Student Awards. The criteria for the All-round Awards require students to achieve a raw score of 46 or above in at least five VCE subjects. The Subject Awards are given to the top students in each subject based on the number of students enrolled. The International Student Awards are given to the top three international students based on their ATAR Aggregate ranking.

Each year, there are usually about three to four Premier’s Awards for VCE English Language. In 2023, a total of 10 students achieved a Raw Score of 50 in VCE English Language, representing the top 0.2% of all English Language students in Victoria. Although their study scores were the same, the Premier’s Award is based on the exam scores, selecting the top three or four students from all Raw 50 students.

Last year, three students from VCE Excel Education achieved a Raw Score of 50 in VCE English Language, accounting for nearly one-third of all perfect scores! They are: Tom Gallacher (Scotch College), Mark Liu (Melbourne High School), and Sharissa Pak (MacRobertson Girls High School).

Among them, Tom Gallacher and Mark Liu were awarded the 2023 English Language Subject Premier’s Award! This indicates that they are not only among the top students out of 4185 English Language examinees but are also ranked in the top three or four among the ten students with a raw score of 50. They are truly the elite of the elite!

VCE Excel Education has produced more than half of the VCE English Language Premier’s Awards, making it undoubtedly the top English Language tutoring institution.
